An extraordinary evening featuring some of Napa Valley's most elusive, small-production wines — paired with a five-course dinner crafted by our chef.

Impensata is built around exceptional single-vineyard sites, meticulous farming, and wines produced in extremely limited quantities — bottles that rarely make their way beyond the winery's allocation and mailing-list circles. For one special night, we're bringing four of them to the table.

The Wines:

Ciminelli Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc — Howell Mountain
An exceptionally small-production white from Impensata's estate vineyard. Just 246 cases of the 2024 vintage were produced.

Las Posadas Vineyard Proprietary Red — Howell Mountain
Sourced from David Abreu's legendary Las Posadas Vineyard, a site revered by collectors and sought after by only a select group of producers. The 2019 vintage produced just 279 cases.

Ecotone Vineyard Merlot — formerly known as Thorevilos
A legendary vineyard planted by David Abreu and Ric Forman. Impensata is the only producer bottling its Ecotone Merlot, sourced from an exceptionally small portion of the vineyard — certain vintages produced in quantities as small as 58 cases.

Engelhard Vineyard Proprietary Red — Calistoga
From a tiny, historic vineyard with just a handful of acres under vine. The 2021 release produced only 301 cases.
